D!‘s Dance School history
With family cohesion to success!
The D!‘s Dance School was founded in September 2002 in Berlin-Mitte. To be able to teach dancing in his own dance school finally to all other dance enthusiasts, not only to the stars, was a lifelong dream for Detlef Soost.
Hardly imaginable today, there were only 2 training rooms and a small cosmetic studio in which 3-4 courses were held every day, at that time jazz dance, hip hop or go-go dance were on the schedule.
Rapidly increasing numbers of members also called for more space and so the first floor became a fitness area and the second floor became a dance area.
The D!‘s Dance School has been shining in its current splendor since 2016 and more than 60 courses per week are offered on 2 floors in 3 course rooms and in a dedicated pole dance room.

Dancing for passion
The aim of the D!‘s Dance School is to make everyone dance and to give them joy. We want everyone to feel the passion with which our coaches and we as a team do our work and that we have an pleasure to bring the art of dancing out into the world. We pay attention to an extensive range of courses, enough variety in the styles, but above all at different levels. The D!‘s Dance School should be a place where everyone, regardless of age, can learn how to dance. In order to strengthen the dance community, we are of course also a D!‘s Dance Club and promote and encourage exchange with our partner clubs all over Germany.
